We have partnered together with a local company to find a Technical SAP Manager - MM/PP to join their team in Wisconsin.

Title: Technical SAP Manager - MM/PP

The Technical SAP Manager Materials Management (MM) & Production Planning (PP) is responsible for providing strategic direction for the creation, development, execution, and leadership of all aspects within their SAP Functional Area of expertise & responsibility (e.g. FICO, BW, MM, SD, PP, MDM, etc.) for the company beginning with creation of an application vision and strategy that aligns with Global SAP team goals and objectives. Position will lead and support a team of direct reports in the design, implementation and support of global SAP application.

This leadership position requires the ability to develop effective global teams, manage multiple initiatives, build/maintain strong business relationships, and facilitate positive and solution-oriented discussions with key cross functional business stakeholders. This individual must understanding supporting systems, and organizational plus compliance requirements across multiple geographies globally. This manager/leadership position requires competent hands-on ability in their area of expertise. Manager is expected to be a hands-on manager with the expectation that they are technically proficient in an area(s) within their Functional responsibility (e.g. Warehouse Management expert within MM team, etc.). The manager will have to perform configuration when necessary since this is a hands-on position.
Responsible for architecting, designing, building and operating their area of SAP Functional responsibility while considering the entire SAP landscape.
Design or re-engineer recognized best practices business processes that properly and efficiently utilize the existing SAP functionality & resources that provide a common business practice for use throughout Client.
Maintain SAP Functional Area of responsibility by understanding upkeep/enhancement requirements and designing changes to the existing solution.
Drives statement of partnership projects, ensuring they meet customers' needs and are operationally sound - Partner with the PMO team, participate in project request assessments to maintain enterprise wide applications alignment. Provides estimates (cost, duration) for enterprise application projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master Degree is preferred; however minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management or other business related field.
2. Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in managing functional SAP analysis, design, configuration and project management in their functional area of expertise. Manager must have started as a configuration analyst and worked their way to successive levels of responsibility.
3. Minimum of 5 years' experience acting in a Project Manager Role on small to large implementations.
4. Master at least 2 major sub module areas within Functional Area of responsibility (MRP, S&OP, etc.), and very good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and integration of multiple applications & other SAP Functional Areas.
