Position Summary Teleflex is recruiting for a Team Lead, IT SC applications, which would be located at Morrisville, NC, USA (Hybrid). The Team lead – Supply Chain Applications would be responsible for providing technical, project and team leadership for the SAP SCM team supporting ECC, related systems and deployment of key strategic IT projects ensuring that products and solutions are developed and supported in accordance with the company’s business plans & objectives. The incumbent will manage a global team of functional SAP resources and work closely with business and IT teams to analyze business priorities and needs. Responsible for the development, delivery and support of the Supply Chain Applications Roadmap the scope of which includes SAP SCM ERP systems as well as integration with other internal& external ERP systems and the future migration to SAP S4. Principal Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following: - Planning • Partner with Supply Chain program management in the planning of scope, schedule, resource and cost • Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements. Execution • Manage the Global Solution delivery for the Supply Chain area including the completion of a global instance of SAP ECC6. • Functional knowledge to support the implementation of strategic IT projects in the SCM area involving SAP Modules: MM, PP, WM, QM, PM • Manage the initiation process for new project requests including analysis of possible solutions, scope definition, resource, cost and schedule planning as they relate to SCM. • Build and maintain knowledge of the overall solution components, capabilities and integrations • Ensure design is integrated with other functional and technical teams • Act as expert support on business processes in respective area of responsibility. • Manage global template for applications to ensure SAP system remains stable and supportable. Control • Ensure adherence to all relevant IT policies, procedures, and computer systems validation standards • Drive standardization and consistency of Supply Chain processes and solutions • Review and approve all variations to global standards for Supply Chain • Provide solution design and methodology guidance to project team members and service providers • Review and approve Supply Chain requirements, process, configuration and functional design • Conduct functional and technical reviews and walk-throughs of solution design documentation Team Leadership • Develop a best-in-class, diverse, SAP design and delivery organization by attracting, retaining, and developing high performing IT professionals focused on business outcomes • Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo and fosters teamwork • Create a trusting, collaborative, and ethical work environment that positively contributes to employee engagement • Manage resource assignments and priorities; work with other functional managers to coordinate assignments to projects and other deliverables whilst dealing with changing priorities Key Relationships / Interfaces • Global IT Application team • Global Supply Chain • Business Support functions • Service integrators and software providers Education / Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Information Systems (a combination of education and experience with SAP SCM may be considered in lieu of a degree) • 7-10+ years experience working in an SAP IT project / support environment • 3+ years leading and developing SAP functional analysts • 5+ years’ experience of SAP design, delivery and support in the Supply Chain area o SAP Modules: MM, PP, WM, QM o Design, Prototype, configure SAP to meet customer requirements. • Cross-functional SAP knowledge. • Experience in SAP Configuration for S4 hana, IBP or eWM would be an advantage • Experience of leading projects through the full IT SDLC • Ability to act as a mentor and coach to less experienced analysts by sharing technical expertise • Ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to several projects and customers simultaneously. • Strong technology and business acumen • Excellent communication skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives • Experience of working in a Support Organization and of full life cycle implementations • Experience of a full life cycle migration to SAP S4 an advantage • Experience in an FDA regulated environment preferred • Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred Specialized Skills / Other Requirements • Approachable and enthusiastic. • Flexible and adaptable. • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player. • Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity • Excellent communication skills. • Good judgment and problem-solving ability& is capable of understanding the impact of decision-making on both Teleflex and their customers. • Experience of building relationships with executive and senior leadership, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives. • Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels and geographies. • Ability to manage and work in a virtual and matrix environment #LI-AD1 Teleflex, Inc. is an affirmative action& equal opportunity employer.
