Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engr - SAP UI5/Fiori

SAP UI5/Fiori Engineer 

The SAP Sr. Software Engineer contributes to the software design, development, and deployment of technical and application solutions that meet business requirements and are cost effective and sustainable.  The SAP Sr. Software Engineer has the ability to take business requirements and develop the conceptual and/or technical design for Fiori/UI5 program/application to run in production. In addition, SAP Sr. Software Engineers may be involved in application configuration, performance tuning, and testing.  

Responsibilities:

•             The candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing and supporting Fiori/UI5 applications in both

        S/4 & ECC landscapes.

•             Translates business goals into appropriate solutions while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution. 

        Participates in the development of cost/benefit analysis.

•             Cultivates and demonstrates industry-specific business process knowledge and familiarity with relevant enterprise,

        business unit, and functional strategies, objectives, and plans.

•             Proactively identify process improvements including clear and concise solution definitions.

•             Develops proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.

•             Develops and maintains working relationships with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams.

•             Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to lay persons, demonstrate

       smart design techniques and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications:

•             Experience developing Fiori Apps in S/4

•             Good development skills in SAPUI5         

•             Experience in HTML5, REST and OData Protocols.

•             Development experience in Javascript and CSS to support multiple browsers.

•             Experience working with SAPUI5 theme designer.

•             Good understanding of SAP Netweaver Gateway Framework and ability to integrate and troubleshoot backend OData

        services.

•             Experience in implementation of Standard Fiori apps into FLP

•             Experience in KPI designer, Smart Business Apps, Adaptability & Extensibility of Standard Apps

•             Experience setting up Catalogs, Groups and role assignments.

•             Should have experience with Content management system (example, GitHub) and follow the coding standards

•             UI/UX Design/Architectural experience

•             Experience in ABAP and/or Java programming is a plus
