The Opportunity

The Senior Software Engineer SAP serves as the subject matter expert for SAP IS-Retail Merchandising and Supply Chain data processes. You will partner with business users to identify and prioritize business requirements.

You will collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams on best practices, design and environment setup. You will conduct design reviews and assists with the design and specification development. You will also partner with development resources to provide detail functional specifications and field mapping documents for custom development.

As a Sr Software Engineer SAP you will lead master data activities during project deployment and manage consulting resources on the project.

You will report to the Senior Manager Software Engineering.

Your Impact

• You will get requirements, analyze SAP and industry best practices, and write/review the documents that capture future and interim process design including the following: BPML, Process Flows, RTM, RICEFWs, User Stories, KDD, RAID, MDD, Loading Templates
• You will perform SAP S4 configuration based on the future design.
• You will do RICEFW design and review. Be able to design custom objects not fitting into standard SAP functionality.
• You will write and review both parts (Functional and Technical) of Techno-Functional Specification.
• You will work with other QRG system owners to capture the impact of SAP S4 on their systems from both process and integration point of view.

What You Bring

Education:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field
• SAP Certification

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience designing and configuring SAP S/4HANA Retail, with components and functions such as Master Data Management, Merchandise and Assortment Planning, Pricing and Promotions, Procurement, Supply Chain (including Forecasting, Allocation, and Replenishment) (15+ ideal)
• 5 years of experience in direct hands on design and implementation of the SAP Merchandising and Supply Chain (10+ ideal)
• Experience with SAP Retail preferably S4: MM, LE, WM, Vendor Master, Sites, Articles, Assortments, Listings, Pricing and Promotions
• Strong experience with SAP IDOCS and interfacing with third party systems.
• SAP S/4 HANA experience is highly preferable
• Experience with additional SAP modules is highly preferable - SD, LE, and PP.
• Cross functional experiences with SAP modules such as SD and FI
• Experience with defining and/or executing projects using a global template.
• Experience in managing budgets, project plans, resource allocations, and priorities are a plus.
