The SAP Security Sr. Analyst will design, implement and provide technical leadership for all SAP projects. Additionally the candidate for this position would have the opportunity to suggest and implement changes to SAP security processes and procedures, as well as initiate configuration changes to enhance current implementations. The candidate will be required to participate in audit and compliance reviews of the SAP systems to ensure compliance with Segregation of Duties and Audit requirements. Additionally, this role will act as a liaison between the SAP Security Team and other business teams to meet business needs while providing a secure and auditable SAP Environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Performs and manages complex IT projects - Designing, implement and provide technical leadership for all projects including the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and peers.

Utilize standard Segregation of Duty (SOD) tools to validate user access privileges and role assignments identifying any potential SOD risk. Determine and implement any appropriate modifications to eliminate or mitigate any potential risk.

Perform regular system audits to detect deviations of established procedures, role mapping, and unauthorized system activity and report findings to management

Troubleshoot existing user roles, security objects and authorizations to resolve security issues.

Identify any gaps in existing security administration processes and procedures as well as areas for significant improvement, optimization and automation.

Develop, maintain, and implement security policies and procedures. Provide updates and training to junior Security team members on new and updated product support requirements
What You Need To Bring To The Table:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus is required.

7 or more years of analysis, development, and maintenance of SAP security.

Extensive knowledge in designing and deploying overall security architecture for a large organization utilizing SAP ECC - Including HR, SD, MM, FI modules, ESS and Portal applications.

In-depth knowledge and experience with GRC Access Control 10.1, Segregation of Duties and Auditing tools

Hands on experience of HANA Studio, including role design, analytic privileges and user implementation processes

Working knowledge of Business Warehouse and Business Objects Central Management Console knowledge and experience required.

Ability to manage project work along with daily analysis of security requests, troubleshooting user problems, and give end-user support
