Job Summary:

Our client is looking for an experienced SAP functional analyst. The SAP Functional Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing processes, training users, and implementing the solution.

Job Description:

• Utilize and support SAP SD module: SD-MD, SD-BF, SD-SLS, SD-SHP, SD-BIL
• Responsible for configuring SAP SD and work on RICEF
• Conducts conceptual and detailed design (blueprint) activities against project requirements and delivers a detailed solution design document within SD modules covering all required aspects
• Understand the integration and relationship between SAP modules to be a key resource for projects originating outside of OTC team
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Drive business processes discussions & solutions regarding customers, sales, shipping, billing, etc.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements
• Design, customize, configure, and testing for OTC requests
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
• Utilize Tax Engine integration (US, GST, and VAT), in particular, TaxWare
• Mentors and develops more junior team members within SD modules on technical/ process areas
• Participate in system and application upgrades, enhancements, and resolutions
• Have sufficient experience with ARM (Advanced Return Management)

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with SD (Sales Distribution)

Required Qualifications:

• Familiar with ECC 6.0 (EHP8 SPS4)
• Experience with S4/HANA is not a requirement; but is preferred
• SAP
• IT experience specifically in business process analysis and design
• Strong business acumen and business process knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses good organizational and time management skills
