Sr SAP ABAP Consultant

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr SAP ABAP Consultant for our premier client in Auburn Hills, Michigan . This is a permanent contract position.

WHAT YOU???LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• ABAP Certified.

Education and Experience »

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Technical Consultant.
• Techno functional experience in SD/MM/FICO.
• ABAP Interface development experience in SAP Modules: SD/ MM / IM / WM/ FICO and SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).
• Experience using IM3 SAP Interface Manager.
• Experience working with global SAP template.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP data dictionary and common SAP tables.
• Familiarity with SAP protocols / standards, e.g. EDI, RFC, ALE, BAPI.
• ABAP Development for SAP NetWeaver, ABAP Objects, Web Services, Web Dynpro, User Exists and BAdIs.
• Excellent client facing consulting skills with the ability to communicate.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• SAP ASAP methodology.
• Industry experience in Auto and manufacturing.
• Experience in various stages of implementation from blueprint, Gap analysis to customization, development and testing, Go-live and Post-live production support.
• Experience Master/Transaction data testing, Troubleshooting Problems in Production Environment, Incident management, business co-ordination.
• At least one HANA S/4 HANA end to end project.
• Experienced with Job scheduling with IBM TWS tools.
• Experienced with Incident, Change and problem management.
• Experience in project information systems and reporting to capture all aspects of the projects.
• Experience in interfacing with Kronos, Fieldglass, Tax systems, SOA services, TSIM.

WHAT YOU???LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain/enhance existing ABAP programs.
• Troubleshoot production problems and performance issues, then find resolutions.
• Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies functional and non-functional requirements and aligns with Volkswagen global standards.
• Perform and coordinate Unit testing, Integration testing and Performance testing and support User acceptance testing.
• Analyze and translate business requirements to technical design.
• Supports Functional and Technical consultants to design and implement System solutions.
• Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended IT and Business team members.
• Develop configurable software services that support applications integrates to enterprise services.
• Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended team members from other applications.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
• Perform technical testing.
