PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Execute technology strategies, policies and procedures. Successfully implement technology-based systems to carry out the Company's mission, strategic goals, and business plan.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Definition and implementation of standardized processes with focus on logistics taking into account the business requirements of Fresenius Medical Care.
  • Realization of SAP EWM projects as well as planned S/4HANA rollouts.
  • Customizing in SAP EWM (S/4HANA decentral), SAP LE /MM
  • Support the business in terms of execution and improvement/re-design of logistics processes as well as ensuring that relevant master data is maintained and appropriate processes are established.
  • Support global template rollouts as well as global serialization initiatives for pharmaceutical products
  • Identification and support of best practices and transfer to the organization
  • Customizing of the EWM landscape in close cooperation with the business units
  • Coordination of development requirements with internal and external SAP developers as well as interface function to external service providers
  • Ensuring the quality of the system and the commissioned developments through functional and integration tests
  • Ensuring a smooth process flow to the adjacent interfaces
  • Support of EWM users as well as training for key users

SUPERVISION:

May be responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of Enterprise Systems staff.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6 - 8 years' related experience.
  • 3+ years professional experience in project management and/or consulting with focus on logistics processes
  • Active role in ERP standardization projects of an international company with focus on logistics processes
  • Very good experience in SAP LE, EWM and S/4HANA as well as knowledge of interfaces to other SAP modules (SD, PP, QM)
  • Very good knowledge in customizing SAP MM/LE and EWM
  • Coordination of development requirements with internal and external SAP developers as well as interface function to external service providers
  • Experience in project management, willingness to change and the ability to implement new business processes, even in the face of resistance or difficulties that arise
  • Experience in initiating projects and achieving buy-in from various stakeholders
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
  • Good communication and conflict resolution skills, quality and goal-oriented approach to work
  • Professional, results-oriented attitude, quality and customer-focused approach and convincing behavior towards stakeholders at all hierarchical levels of an international organization
