What You'll Do
As the Sr. Payroll SAP Analyst , you will oversee and participate in requirements definition, creation of designs and specifications, construction, testing, production release, and long-term production support . You will collaborate with project managers, business analysts , business process SMEs, developers, testers, infrastructure team, production support team, and others to create and update software solutions that support our business. Other duties will include:
- Design technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across global systems
- Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for technical solution architecture
- Create innovative solution designs that utilize SAP and SuccessFactors best practices
- Oversee the global design and implementation of SAP and SuccessFactors features and functionality
- Design, develop and configure solutions for complex scenarios across SAP, SuccessFactors and other payroll related application landscapes throughout a project/program lifecycle providing subject matter expertise and guidance on best practices with a strong strategic awareness within the SAP markets and associated technologies
- Oversee a SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors team of analysts to ensure delivery of required outcomes while meeting standards and deadlines
- Oversee an external consulting and/or development team to ensure delivery of required outcomes while meeting standards and deadlines
- Manage the implementation lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale
- Cultivate relationships with Business Partners
- Collaborate with Business Partners and Functional teams to identify and deliver value-added global technical solutions
- Collaborate with IT Solution Architect to design and implement application integration in accordance with Enterprise guidelines
- Document global business and technical processes relating to application configuration and development
- Create the underlying data structures coupled with designing related data flow models
- Provide production support and resolution to SAP, SuccessFactors and other payroll related application support requests
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum eight years overall working experience with progressively increasing professional responsibilities
- Minimum five years configuring and supporting the SAP Payroll and Human Resource modules
- Waterfall SDLC software development methodologies (Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus)
- Working and managing vendors/consultants and vendor/consultant relationships
- Understanding of US and Canada SAP Payroll configuration and processingCreate/modify existing Wage Types & update the Wage Type settings Create/modify Payroll rules & Schemas Create Work Schedules Processing Payroll using (RPCALCxx) and reading the payroll log Knowledge of Personnel Administration settings and assignments in Master Data Knowledge of the Org Management integration with Personnel Administration Personnel Admin Info type functionality/usage Knowledge of Benefits Integrations including Limit tabless
- Ability to speak French and/or Spanish would be nice to have
- Mexico Payroll and Human Resource business process knowledge a plus but not required
