What you will do:


Scope of Responsibilities:  Reporting to Director IT, Global SAP COE ERP Run Leader . T his position leads a global team of application architects and analyst to keep enterprise SAP environments fully operational.  Resource should have 10 years of SAP Implementation and support experience covering all the phases of projects. This includes managing global internal resources and external managed services teams to manage the following tasks:
 
How you will do it:

  • A&C
    • Review open items in JIRA and work with teams to update statuses, completion timeline to be adhered to JCI policies
    • Attend twice weekly meetings for FF updates 
    • Attend once weekly meetings on JIRA updates led by Fernanda
    • Work with internal SAP CoE teams for updates across all controls
    • Updates to leadership
  • SDLC & Release Management
    • Work with the Infosys team to ensure appropriate execution of governance and transports releases
    • Quality gate process
    • Maintain release schedules
    • Approve emergencies to production
    • Update Blackout Calendar – SAP downtimes (non-prod & prod) across all business units
    • Update Approval Matrix as needed
    • Approval for changes to GGP (GRC), GMP (ChaRM)
    • Approval on any changes to SDLC or Release Management owned documents (SDLC Check, Release Schedule, Updates to Blackout Calendar,
    • Approvals for SharePoint Access
    • Updates to SharePoint sites including uploads
    • Approve and coordinate off schedule commits to transport
    • Help identify project transition of KT to AMS
    • Updates to leadership
    • Attend BRM meetings  
  • Regression Testing
    • Review of testing planned for the month
    • E stablish and implement testing standards and best practices for large development projects and run releases
    • Define and implement Automation and performance test strategy
    • Review and approve  the %22High Level%22 and “Detailed” test estimates from vendors
    • Adjustments to testing calendars
    • Monthly approval for testing charges (email approval
    • SAP Test Management including estimation, test planning, test execution and reporting (Test Metrics), and resource planning
    • Driving System integration and performance testing for Monthly releases
    • Updates to leadership
    • Build regression bed to cover all critical process across the systems and regions
  • Disaster Recovery
    • Continuous updates for DR documentation to stay compliant
    • Coordinate and manage DR rehearsals (next rehearsal is scheduled for March, 2019)
    • Act as liaison with technical teams and Global DR Coordinator for updates as required
    • Updates to leadership
  • Incident Management
    • Keep the SAP system up and running
    • Manage the resources internal and external to resolve all the issues pertaining to SAP
    • Manage to keep the Customer satisfaction by managing the team of vendor organization
    • Keep a watch on the open tickets, Aging of the tickets and keeping a watch to maintain the SLAs  by the partner
    • Manage BRM teams and have weekly calls

  • Service Management overview
    • Work with the Infosys team to ensure appropriate execution of governance and transports releases

    • Demand prioritization of SAP change requests
    • Design reviews with BRM
    • Efforts finalization with Solution delivery team
    • Get the alignment with users on prioritization
    • Overview the development cycle of the change from vendor
    • Over view all the phases of changes
    • Deploy the developed solution
    • Updates to leadership
  • Aging Reports
    • Review of aging reports as they come in
    • Providing guidance to Vishnu who has been trained on the BI Power reporting and communications on issues found with the aging information shared by Infosys
  • Approval of GRC

Justification:

  • Tasks related to Template governance, Release mgmt., Compliance decisions, Regression test cycles super vision are very critical in the SAP Center of Excellence.
  • Auditing of the changes moving into production aligns with the SOP of JCI
  • Ownership of Test bed should stay with internal resources. So that JCI can make sure all the changes are tested before making it to production.
