JOB SCOPE / SUMMARY

The Senior IT Business Analyst - SAP Materials Management will provide process and system support to our internal Behr customers in various countries and provide leadership/mentorship to Junior ITBAs and ITBAs. This individual will work closely with Business Analysts in the US and India across functional areas and partner with the business to provide assistance to the functional users, which includes SAP system usage inquiries, gathering business requirements, translating them into functional requirements, recommending and implementing solutions by configuring SAP, and working with ABAP developers and other technical teams on enhancements and new initiatives to meet ongoing business needs and support the company's long term growth strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshooting SAP system issues and working on multiple Service Now business requests and incidents simultaneously, working with internal and external cross- functional groups.

Resolving issues related to business use of implemented SAP modules or processes by working closely with ITBAs (in US & India), systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions.

Supporting day to day departmental functions for the MM / Procurement module; evaluating system requirements and implementing solutions; configuring, modifying and coordinating testing of released objects.

Creating and providing quality training material and delivering training for user assistance and system usage.

Working closely with the development team to assure a timely solution according to the specifications and implementation of business needs.

Assuring quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications to improve the quality of IT processes.

Researching and monitoring EDI related issues

Work in collaboration with business and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Produce appropriate documentation and actively participate in development of technical and workflow solutions.

Working on blended project teams consisting of web developers, software engineers, functional analysts and business users at all levels in the organization to deliver projects to support the corporate short & long term strategic roadmap.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 5 - 7 years functional SAP experience in MM module with knowledge of SAP configuration.

Deep, diverse experience in SAP Purchasing, Materials Management, and MRP Experience in several of the following functions is required:

  • Purchasing processes and master data
  • Inventory management processes and master data
  • Release strategy
  • Inter/Intra company processes
  • EDI
  • Strong understanding of integration between MM and SD modules.
  • Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Experience supporting international customers preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer technology, systems development, systems analysis and design
  • Experience with various system interfaces / middleware preferred.
  • Ability to establish effective interpersonal relations
  • Time management & organizational skills including multi-taking and prioritizing workload
  • Proven ability to manage small to medium size projects.

Hiring Range: $92,300.00 - $145,090.00
