Position Purpose: The Solutions Architect for Supply Chain and Warehousing provides leadership, functional expertise, and technical support for various business units using the SAP S/4 Hana platform. This role focuses on the design and implementation of existing and new business functionalities within the SAP Warehouse Management and Materials Management platform, supporting the Supply Chain and Warehousing areas. Additionally, the Solutions Architect establishes standards and requirements for evaluating enhancements and implementing solutions across the enterprise.

Key Job Activities:

  • Lead, participate, or coordinate end-to-end execution of MM/WM solutions, projects, and technology implementations, introducing best practices and process improvement ideas.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on management of configuration, ensuring systems align with corporate needs and SAP Best Practice solutions.
  • Define systems strategy, develop requirements, design and prototype solutions, conduct testing and training, and establish support procedures.
  • Offer process expertise and solutions in Warehouse Management, Reverse Logistics, Picking, Packing, Handling Unit Management, Transportation Management, Fleet Management, Serialization, Batch Management, Supply Chain Planning, and integration touchpoints with SD/MM/PTP and other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools.
  • Analyze business requirements, translate them into designs, and collaborate with business counterparts to deliver solutions based on Best Practices and SAP expertise.
  • Lead multiple design activities, from requirement analysis to systems, application, and process design specifications, implementation, and support.
  • Provide expertise for project estimation and financial analysis.
  • Create documentation for planning, design, implementation, and support of SAP MM/WM services.
  • Participate in team meetings and internal initiatives to address issues, discuss new trends, and collaborate on projects.
  • Manage and complete complex assignments and related projects.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support of SAP MM/WM to IT and business stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business or Information Technology (MBA a plus).
  • SAP Certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive SAP MM/WM experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 4 full cycle SAP implementation projects in MM/WM/EWM Solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of Supply Chain integrations, particularly in regulated healthcare companies and both domestic and international platforms.
  • Experience working on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting and influencing company-wide strategic direction.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing SAP MM/WM solutions for business programs/projects.
  • Strong analytical ability, problem analysis techniques, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and across different time zones.

  • Technical competence to supervise and inspire team members.
  • Travel may be required.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience in SAP ECC 6.0.
  • Configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP MM/WM/EWM solutions.
