Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Senior SAP Developer Lead to work onsite at our client’s facility in Morton, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 5+ months with the ability to go longer for the right candidate.

Must be available to work W2 for Volt, No C2C or 3rd party vendors.

Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining and providing support for Order to Cash functionality in our large and complex SAP landscape. Responsibilities will include high-visibility issue-management, event-management, change-management, proactive system monitoring, regression testing, upgrades, and support pack implementations.

Selected candidate will be working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions. Participating in integrated testing of application or infrastructure components. Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure. Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.

Provide root cause analysis and design for solution gaps in our gATP solution, as prioritized by our business partners and IT architects, to ensure customer orders are completed in a timely manner with correct data. Provide guidance to level 1 and level 2 analysts in addressing grief.

Required skills:

  • 8-10 years of overall experience in working with SAP products in large organizations
  • SAP Certification (preferred)
  • Experience supporting SAP’s standard gATP functionality (R/3)
  • Experience supporting schedule agreements, purchase orders, and contract document flows.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple technical and business teams.
  • Experience with idoc/queue management (data flows)
  • Debugging kills for ABAP code
  • In-depth functional knowledge and writing skills to create incident resolution and process flow documentation
  • Timely and effective decision-making Preferred candidate will also have:
    • Subject matter expertise in SPP MM
    • ABAP development skills
    • CRM and/or EWM functional knowledge
    • Agile development experience
    • ServiceNow and ChARM change management experience
