Eaton is seeking a Senior Manager, SAP SME-SCM within the CrouseHinds, BLine, and Oil & Gas Division in the Electrical Sector. This position is based at our Syracuse, NY location. Relocation assistance will be provided. The Senior Manager, SAP SME-SCM will serve as the subject matter expert for our global supply chain's SAP processes. This position will develop standardized SAP input/output policy and deploy using standard work within SCM Organization. The incumbent will develop flow lines from internal suppliers, inputs, processes, outputs and internal customers for key policy (SIPOC), as well as develop a competency matrix and required training to align with SAP functionality access. This position is responsible for aligning SAP excellence inside the Crouse-Hinds, B-Line division with Eaton SAP COE to ensure all tools are aligned, and if they differ, it is measured due to business needs. Essential Responsibilities: Drives capital projects for CH/BL as they pertain to SAP/MRP functionality. Uses the Material Management Assessment tool (MMA) to gauge adoption, demonstrated ability and aligns gaps to actions for improvement . Develops SMART metrics for MRP excellence, Work Order Mgmt, On-Time to Cycle (Routing excellence), REM/ROP usage and Lead Time Reduction in the value chain Deploys a Best practice (Model Plant) process across CH/BL Globally using the Material Management Assessment Tool. Works with and influences the global site leadership team to manage & facilitate the decision to acquire internal/external capacity to balance demand & supply-RCCP, CRP tools. Work with Sales, PLM’s, Demand Managers and Commercial Managers in the areas of demand forecasting, capacity planning, and setting inventory levels to ensure a realistic and achievable plan resides in SAP. Ties forecasting module, REM/ROP strategies within SAP to manage demand/supply relationship. Ensure daily reporting and monitoring to plan of key metrics reside from SAP: Customer OTTR / Sales / Inventory, supplier OTD, DPPM, Routing Accuracy. Align the annual profit planning forecast process with an 18-month rolling SIOP to an systematic approach inside SAP to align MRP. Support the implementation and deployment of IT solutions to enhance SAP process efficiency. Support the deployment of standard material planning & replenishment processes across the plant & supply chain to enable improved SAP utilization. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment inside a SAP environment Experience in SAP rollouts and specific MRP functionality within the tool Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related field CPIM Certification Position Criteria: Strong analytical abilities Strong knowledge of demand planning process Experience using ERP statistical software packages Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues Excellent communication and Team Building skills Detail oriented with extreme accuracy Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities Experience with ERP functionality Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc. Ability to lead cross-functionally.
