JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Senior Manager; SAP Basis and Security will be responsible for the overall design, implementation and maintenance of Novocure's security access providing a common security framework across all IT systems. The position will also provide administrator oversight to SAP Basis activities ensuring maintenance, operations and upgrades to the Novocure landscape

Candidates should have an excellent grasp of industry and subject matter best practices, trends, and concepts, and have the ability to apply these concepts into the SAP environment and business process.

This a full time, exempt, remote role reporting to the Senior Director, SAP.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design "best Security practices" to provide a common Info Security framework across all systems

Define Novocure's security provisioning strategy and ensure adherence to design

Responsible to maintain proper security controls, policies and segregation of duties on systems like S/4 HANA, Fiori, BOBJ, Success Factors, BPC and other satellite application systems

Manage authorizations and role assignments in accordance with SOX compliance

Maintain thorough documentation based on approved methods, approach, and strategies for security configuration processes and procedures

Lead security projects or enhancement efforts supporting SAP and non-SAP systems and solutions according to specifications and schedules while meeting quality requirements

Analyze processes and user needs and deliver quality solutions that meet both business and functional requirements

Ensure SAP security changes comply with corporate change control policy. Create SAP transports and ensure all transports moved into production maintain system integrity

Working with InfoSecurity to facilitate strong controls around end user/ system access

Provide all aspects of technical support for SAP Basis Administration in proactive and reactive modes, to ensure that SAP systems perform at optimized level to meet or exceed SLAs

Comply with company's Global IT Policies & Procedures

Manage internal and external security resources

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience

5-7 years' experience managing SAP Security and Basis administration

SAP security implementation experience including SAP role maintenance skills, design, build, troubleshooting

Strong understanding of SAP transaction codes and authorization objects

Background with SAP S4 Hana solutions

Experience working in a global environment

Strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills

Demonstrated ability to drive and gather business requirements

Knowledge of SAP best practices and SAP Implementation Methodology

Understanding of controls (SOX/Audit) as related to SAP Security
