The Opportunity
The Senior Finance Manager, SAP will interact across finance and business functions, and partner with IT to provide system, process, and project management support to the Finance organization. The role will drive the assessment and prioritization of service requests and execution of enhancement projects. The Sr. Manager will actively be involved in continuously improving the finance A2R, OTC, P2P and Fixed Asset processes by leveraging SAP FI-CO functionality. This position is located in Raritan, NJ.
The Responsibilities:
Ownership of the SAP sustainment model
• Identify business pain points, troubleshoot process issues, assess SAP enhancements/optimizations, and partner with global process owners to prioritize. Work with IT and finance users to design, test, and implement the system change
• Ensure consistent practices are used throughout the company to maintain the integrity of the financial data
• Perform continuous analysis to identify and prioritize high-impact process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and cost saving initiatives
• Build strong partnerships with Finance, IT, and key individuals within other functional organizations.
Finance systems lead on large scale SAP initiatives in accordance with approved project plan timeline
• Facilitate business process design sessions and ensure creation of user requirements and process design flows
• Define user acceptance test scope, and guide finance users through testing, training and cutover
• Provide post go-live support
Develop SAP A2R, OTC, P2P, Fixed Assets, and Product Costing work instructions and training program; providing training as required.
Perform other work related duties as assigned.

The Individual:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Enterprise Systems; CPA or MBA a plus
7+ years of experience in architecting, building and supporting SAP FI/CO
Solid knowledge of account-to-report, procure-to-pay, fixed assets, order-to-cash, profitability analysis, and product costing processes within SAP FI/CO
Project management, consulting, or hands-on SAP configuration experience a plus
Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes and initiatives
Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
Experience working in a dynamic environment and able to recommend and implement process improvements
Required travel - 10-15% and potentially international
Key Working Relationships
Internal: Accounting, Finance Shared Service Centers, Commercial Finance, and Global Information Systems
Supervisory Responsibilities- 1 direct Report
