Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Dominion Energy's ITBA DES & Enterprise Applications department.
•This position will provide support to our SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance team.
•The individual in this position will provide support for internal customers, and their applications/processes including second or third level HelpLine support.
•This SAP Functional team position will work with and provide support to ITBA business areas encompassing all of SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance.
•As such, SAP experience is strongly preferred, however experience with enterprise application configuration and support paired with a willingness and aptitude to learn SAP can be substituted for SAP experience.
•This individual will also be assigned to lead or support client IT projects, and enhancements.
The successful candidate will support our SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance usage by Dominion Energy business areas (Power Delivery-Transmission, Power Generation, non-Nuclear, Gas Delivery - Distribution). This SAP functional team position will work with and provide support to ITBA business areas using all aspects of SAP - EAM/Plant Maintenance, including SAP - mobile application and SAP Fiori. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex systems problems. Align technology solutions with business strategies. Partner with functional groups within the IT organization to communicate and clarify business needs, contribute to development of long-range system plans, and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs. Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost versus benefit measurements. Communicate trends and requirements to and from customers and IT. Work with an individual business unit on multi-project assignments. Guide and advise less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
•Create detailed business requirements from which functional/technical specifications will be written.
•Work on client enhancement requests.
•Develop test scripts, execute test plans, perform SAP Configuration, and assist the business with user acceptance testing.
•Excellent understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
•Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
•Demonstrated competency in verbal, written and presentation communications.
•Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work independently.
•Serve as a second/third level of support for Help-Line activities.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience developing process maps, gathering business requirements with strong emphasis on researching and understanding complex issues, root cause analysis, and application testing OR working with/within SAP modules.
•Associate's degree with 7+ years' experience developing process maps, gathering business requirements with strong emphasis on researching and understanding complex issues, root cause analysis, and application testing OR working with/within SAP modules.
•5+ years' experience working directly with SAP or EAM/PM
Education Preferred:
Bachelor degree or other education in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Engineering
Technical Knowledge (strongly preferred):
•Experience with an ERP system
•General awareness of process and application integration options
•Advanced adherence to formal testing techniques/methodology, consistently delivering work product/deliverables
•Adherence to formal Change Management Policies
Additional Preferences:
•Previous experience in an Information Technology environment or within a business unit
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Demonstrates the ability to research and understand customer issues.
•Excellent understanding of business systems and industry requirements
•Ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures.
•Demonstrates competency in verbal, written and presentation communications.

•Previous experience working on technology projects and has a general understanding of software development lifecycle.
