Compensation: $80.00 to $90.00 hourly

A current Robert Half client is adding an external warehouse and is looking for a Functional SAP WM SME with SD and MM. The client has built a new warehouse/distribution center and they need to be able to ship and receive out of this warehouse. The vendors will be shipping directly to the warehouse so they can ship to the customers. They will be transferring processes from the manufacturing facilities to this warehouse. The ideal candidate will need to understand requirements and make any system modifications required (the client wants this person’s input, it’s crucial upfront). They’ll be following their processes, providing documentation and training to the individuals in the warehouse. This person will really need to know how to capture requirements from processing points. They will want to understand some configuration around warehouse and the functionalities of purchasing and warehouse. They will need to help document and will assist (small part of the role) with setting up the system of the new warehouse. The ideal candidate will go through testing and find out where the issues are and communicate with the developers on what to fix. They will want to know the impact the client has on their customers/suppliers from and EDI standpoint. They’ll need to make sure paperwork is getting printed out directly. This person will be helping the hiring manager get the warehouse set up and running within the next 2-3 months and help guide others.
