SAP / VPSX Implementation Specialist — Need Someone with Output Management Experience (Printer / Network)

Responsibility will cover all Business as Usual (BAU) Level 1 escalations and support tasks associated with the SAP / VPSX environment. The resource will perform the following activities:

  • Lead SAP / VPSX Implementation:
    • Develop technical documentation for SAP deployments
    • Assist in the management of SAP deployments
    • Backfill for implementation
  • ERP Disaster Recovery (DR) Operational and Tabletop DR Exercises:
    • Update application disaster recovery plans and sending them for approval prior to and after the exercise (setting up meetings with the Process Stewards as needed)
    • Enter / update / track tickets for shared service functions during a DR event
    • Create / route approval DR exercise summary report
    • Attend all technical and application meetings related to the exercise
    • Assist in the planning and organization of the exercise
    • Assist in the execution of the exercise
  • ERP Outage Coordination:
    • Update contact sheets every two to three months
    • Review and approve outage request date(s)
    • Send outage requests to application contacts for approval
    • Send weekend reports to the leadership team
  • Assist with critical application print issues across global sites as necessary
  • Assist with the management of equipment Service Requests as needed
  • Write and maintain Knowledge Base articles related to output:
    • Support solutions
    • Error messages
    • Tips, tricks, and how-to-articles
  • Assist with print activities related to Follow Me Print
  • Assist in responding to the Service Center tickets for printer issues as necessary
  • Work with the Global Document Output Management, client, and client teams to solve Enterprise Output Management issues
  • Assist with testing and configuring of printers following data gathering
  • Interface with the Networking Team to have Domain Name System (DNS) entries built
