Your Role and Responsibilities

Lead SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) Subject Matter Expert for Federal SAP practice. As part of this position candidate should be able to independently solution TMS solutions and be a subject matter expert on S/4HANA TMS solutions. Design includes multiple forms of shipment and tracking through organic and 3rd party shippers to build a global solution. Responsibilities will include leading a team through a design through implementation and supporting business development in the SAP TMS area.

Additionally, this position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design and audit readiness in support of the upgrade. This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP modules such as FI, MM and SD. Candidate must have expertise with these SAP modules to integrate functionality in order to expand the current system footprint.

• Provide TMS expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
• Provide configuration data migration interface and functional support as necessary;
• Lead design of TMS interfaces conversion programs reports and enhancements;
• Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures functional design specifications process flows and test cases;
• Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
• Define user authorization requirements; and
• Prepare/conduct briefings demos or training sessions as needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• SAP Transportation Management System design and configuration experience including the ability to integrate with other SAP modules (such as FI, MM and SD)
• Must have at least 10 or more years of SAP experience and possess Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area.
• Knowledge of and experience with DoD.
• Requires strong organization and communication skills.
• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plans and leads major technology assignments.
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• May supervise others.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2 plus years of experience with Federal SAP clients
• S/4 HANA
• S/4 HANA TMS Certification

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
