SAP Test Analyst

Manage all levels of testing, such as functional (System Integration, Business Integration, Regression, UAT) testing and non-functional (Performance, Security) testing

• Develop and manage project test strategy, approach and plan with project team resources
• Support the team in the identification, development, and execution of test scenarios, use cases, and test cases
• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements/specifications
• Defines requirements for an integrated testing environment to reflect the production environment as closely as reasonable
• Ensures that project relevant test data is obtained or created as needed
• Define project test automation strategy
• Define the testing process for the project and onboard all project team members for testing
• Provide day to day leadership and direction to all SAP project test teams during all test cycles in support of a release
• Drive defect resolution
• Define, measure, and report testing metrics for the project
• Alert leadership on project risks that may impair system quality or project schedule
• Interface with business users, project manager, vendors and IT to manage the resolution of defects that are uncovered
• Review and approve project deliverables for accuracy, completeness, quality, and achievability
• Provide a current knowledge of concepts and practices in the field of SAP system testing. Provide thought leadership and apply best practices in the definition, management and governance of software testing.
• Assist Project Manager in development of Integrated Project Plan

EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years SAP test management required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing GUI, Functional, Regression, Integration/Interface/File Transfer, Data Migration (ETL), and Performance testing of packaged, custom developed (.Net/Java), and mobile applications.
• Experience with testing business applications running on web, client server, and mobile platforms required, including performance of OS and browser compatibility testing.
• Use and development of automation scripts in HP UFT or equivalent Test Automation tool preferred.
• Experience in more than 1 of these modules of SAP: Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Product Planning (PP) Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Have experience testing integrated applications, such as SuccessFactors or SalesForce
• Should have experience with large global SAP rollouts- preferably in the chemicals industry
• Experience with the following preferred: SAP Hana, SAP cloud solutions, Fiori, HCI/PI integration, Biztalk integration
• Experience with project management, strong organizational skills.
• Experience in handling and leading escalations and managing resolution of critical issues.
• Ability to create and meet timelines cognizant of business needs and constraints.
