This position is located in St. Clairsville, OH. As an SAP Technical Assistant Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our SAP implementation and ongoing operations. You will work closely with our SAP team to ensure the system's efficiency and reliability. This role provides an excellent learning experience and a chance to develop your skills in a real-world business environment.
ESSENTIAL
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- SAP System Support: Provide technical assistance for SAP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Data Management: Assist in data entry, data validation, and data extraction tasks within the SAP system.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP processes, configurations, and technical procedures.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in the testing of SAP system changes, updates, and enhancements to ensure functionality and performance.
- User Support: Provide support to SAP users, addressing their queries and helping them navigate the system effectively.
- Reporting: Generate reports from SAP to support business operations and decision-making processes.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the SAP team, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Training: Participate in SAP training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Experience
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business) at an accredited university.
- Strong interest in SAP technology and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Basic knowledge of SAP modules and functions is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of SAP
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Effective communication is required
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Successfully complete industry approved training courses
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
