First line support for SAP Quality functions in the Digital Operations organization. Responsible for resolving complex SAP business problems related to the UTAS Operations SAP sites. Our team supports Operations sites globally with Business Unit customers throughout. Travel to these sites and Business Units will be required.

* This role can be located at UTAS location in the US.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The SAP Support Analyst- Quality Operations will be responsible to support the site for the quality management functionality in SAP ECC and QIM along with other associated manufacturing support systems (Solumina, XPS/GTS, Autotime, SAP Add-on tools, etc.)
  • A thorough knowledge of quality management principles and processes with supplemental knowledge of manufacturing & production execution, inventory management, and supply & demand is required
  • Some travel will be required to other UTAS Operations sites for support as well as other UTAS or UTC sites for events, training etc.
    Candidate will be required to answer day to day SAP inquiries from the UTAS Operations sites
  • Participate in SAP enhancements, service pack upgrades, dependent projects and supporting systems through requirements, design, test script development, testing and activation, perform system regression testing for new releases or upgrades to SAP
  • Improve SAP utilization & effectiveness within all UTAS Operations value streams assisting the sites in training
  • Develop standard work and processes, work with the UTAS Operations sites in the development of day to day business processes and standard work, policies and procedures driving consistency and standardization across Operations
  • Analyze complex SAP business problems and develop solutions within SAP using available tools and technologies, provide internal training
  • Technical assistance as required to develop new and existing Super Users within each UTAS Operations site and value stream
  • Facilitate and lead special initiatives in support of divisional objectives (i.e. new plant's, synergy projects, organizational changes, new products, etc.)

Qualification: Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing and Materials Management, Planning & Inventory, related SAP role or equivalent years of experience within targeted SAP module (ECC).
  • Experience leading and teams across the organization and outside of their direct support site
  • Business analysis skills and the ability to solve complex business problems by using information technology and business intelligence software.
  • Customer relationship management experience - pro-active review of processes and procedures to continually enhance SAP service quality, service delivery and support.
  • Project management experience – Manage deadlines of the project – planning, scheduling
  • Experience using Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quality Management, Materials & Manufacturing processes and Capacity planning experience
  • SAP GUI scripting knowledge
  • VBA programming experience
  • Report writing via Teradata or Business Warehouse

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field
