Description

Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for a SAP Successfactors Consultant to work on a 12+ months contract in Houston, Texas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support in Employee Central, Recruiting and Onboarding modules
  • Support Employee Central/Recruiting and Onboarding system support tickets
  • Configure and support enhancements to EC, Recruiting and Onboarding
  • CPI integration setup between EC and ECC
  • Troubleshoot issues with integration between EC and ECC
  • EC/ECP/Onboarding/Recruiting daily activities.
  • Provide consulting solutions including how to leverage standard SAP SuccessFactors functionality and how to enable requirements while maximizing the ROI.
  • Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation
  • Create and maintain documentation of environment design, configuration and workflow
  • Support business teams alongside other IT SAP staff
  • Perform root cause analysis on persistent or major software & application related problems
  • Must be able to dive into existing code to figure out how objects need to be enhanced. Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 system issues.
  • Strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign
  • Knowledge of Scoping and Planning, Process design, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Good working knowledge in SAP ERP systems and SuccessFactors
  • Collaborate with client, ITD colleagues and others to identify client business application system requirements, assess impact to other system applications, consider and evaluate possible solutions, and present recommendations
  • Perform or oversee system applications analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance and enhancement
  • Deploy required project resources, expend budgeted funds for required material, and arrange for staffing, tools and specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation
  • Develop or ensure that applications are developed in compliance with architectural standards, established practices and company policies and procedures
  • Act as an internal consultant providing assistance, counsel and advice both to clients and ITD colleagues in systems design, the use of purchased or licensed software, and in-house developed programming
  • Perform other duties as directed

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related discipline
  • Ten (10) years’ experience in SAP ABAP development, SAP Functional across modules, business systems application design, and system development and installation in an on-line environment, with a conceptual understanding and working knowledge of information system technologies and methodologies employed in mainframe, mid-range and desktop computing environments
  • 1 + years SuccessFactors
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job responsibilities as outlined
  • Must be able to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical way
  • Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, the ability to grasp new technical concepts, the ability to learn, retain and teach others new technology as it is introduced in the industry; and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies and standard business etiquette
