Title/Role: SAP Security Administrator
Engagement Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Location: Huntsville, AL (Remote)
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $140,000 - $165,000 Annually
Start Date: ASAP
Overview
- Designing, building, and sustaining the AESIP technical infrastructure to enable the development and integration of enterprise applications.
- The day-to-day management and administration of the Common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Enclave Development (DEV) / Quality Assurance (QAS) / Production (PROD) / COOP and N+1/lab/sandbox environments. This includes the SAP products in the AESIP Technical Library.
- Will support designing and building security roles and implementing authorizations.
- Will also support User administration with Central User Administration besides supporting AESIP compliance protocols.
- Will assist with planning, managing, and performing the AESIP SAP Security model in coordination with Army-Shared Services Center (SSC), and the supporting Army Network Enterprise Centers (NECs) and servicing data center.
- Shall utilize the AESIP Configuration Control Board process to coordinate specific tasks to be performed by the respective data center.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the SAP Security Architecture for new and existing projects.
- Assess functional enhancements and make recommendations per SAP Security and Compliance best practices.
- Translate functional specifications into a technical design for SAP Security Responsible for SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP PI, SAP GRC (Access Violation Management and Regulation Management), SAP HANA, in accordance with SAP Security Strategy.
- Support Administration/Troubleshooting complex SAP Security Issues.
- Designing and building security roles and authorizations.
- Support User administration with Central User Administration.
- Identify Risks and compliance issues by running segregation of duties checks and following AESIP compliance protocol.
- Be able to support multiple projects concurrently including different iterations of testing, project Go-Lives and emergency access provisioning.
- Facilitates internal and external audits as requested.
- Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
- Provide status reports for projects to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years implementing and supporting Security for SAP ECC, BPC, PI, BW, Solution Manager and 5+ years' experience with SAP Authorizations.
- Strong Analytical approach to solving problems and solution development.
- Experience with system refreshes through client copies, client transports, and system copies along with all post copy activities for EP, ECC/ERP and BW.
- Experience with tools such as SAP GUI, Putty and x-windows base tools.
- CompTIA Security+ CE.
- Secret Clearance strongly preferred.
