Job Purpose and primary objectives:

• Work closely with Business Leads and users to understand existing Business processes.
• Leads, participates and coordinates end-to-end execution of SAP QM solutions, related projects and technology implementations. Introduces best practice and process improvement ideas.
• Strong Cross Functional Experience with integration of Quality Management (QM) with Production Planning (PP), Material Management and Warehouse Management functionalities.
• Evaluate and determine best-fit solution for problem.
• Expected to translate visions into physical plans using analytics  capabilities in design and product development.
• Work with the cross Functional team to understand the data requirements and data structure for the data objects assigned to that work stream plus their inter-dependency/integrity requirements within and across work streams

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):                            

The Architect will have responsibility for SAP Quality Management module :

• Ensuring delivery of data analysis, data mapping and data validation
• Expertise around All aspects of the implementation process including business process analysis, requirements gathering, design, complete system configuration, testing, end-user training, and production support.
• Work closely with Business Leads and users to understand existing Business processes.
• Hands-on experience in blueprinting, QM configuration for QM in manufacturing industry, QM in procurement, production, and sales & distribution.
• Experience in Quality Planning for Inspection Planning and Inspection Planning.
• Strong knowledge on cross-functional modules MM, PP and WM.
• Proficiency in conversion of business requirements into functional specifications and technical specifications for solution design, development, unit and integration testing and other aspects of software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem solving skills, analytical skills and ability to make balanced independent decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and consulting skills

• Must have architectural capabilities to define  complete PP/QM solution based on business requirement.
• Expertise in blue printing and business process design
• Expert with  data elements  associated with SAP QM  and its interdependencies with various SAP SCM modules example SAP  PP and  SAP MM.
• 5+ full cycle implementations including: Scoping and Planning, Process Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support

 

Experience required:    

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in SAP QM
• Minimum of five end-to-end SAP QM implementations, including hands-on design and configuration.
• Functional/technical proficiency with full lifecycle SAP implementations

Duration of the Assignment:       1 Year

Special working conditions (travel, on call etc):

•  Occasional off hours and weekend work is expected as this position serves a global organization

Additional remarks (if any): Full time day shift position

• Some regional and international travel will be required to meet with business partners and develop key working relationships as part of a global function
