Title: SAP Project Manager (Data Migration)
Duration: 12 months
Location: This will be a remote position with the possibility of minimal travel.
This is an exempt level position at an hourly rate with additional compensation for overtime at the ST/hr. rate

Description:
Managing ERP Data Migration to SAP. SAP experience is a must for this position.

Role Specifics:
Managed the activities associated with defining, cleansing, and extracting legacy master and transactional data and converting into SAP
Coordinates all activities associated with the master and transactional files in SAP
Works with process teams and data owners to define data migration (data load) scope and overall strategy.
Identifies and tracks all SAP and legacy system automated data migration development requests. Ensure functional specs are delivered to the development team and programs thoroughly tested, track progress against due dates, and report status
Manages the development of migration plans for each data load, including the process for legacy system data clean-up, validation, and reconciliation
Coordinates data across all functional teams as it relates to their specific master data elements (Customers, Vendors, Materials, Pricing, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, BOMs, Work centers, Inventory, G/L Accounts, etc.).
Works with technical team members and business data owners to identify, locate and map from legacy systems into the SAP data structures
Develops cut-over plans showing all activities and dependencies necessary for a successful mock-cutover and live cut-over
Manages and assists in the execution of mock cut-over testing.
Tracks and reports on data migration status against the plan.
Engaged with external suppliers to deliver the project
Ability to manage multiple priorities, multiple strands of work simultaneously

Able to work closely with Program/Project Management staff to achieve directives yet self-driven with the ability to manage (own) workloads without direct supervision

Project planning coordination and development
Project plan creation and maintenance
Project governance and management
Project management process use and compliance
Project communication planning and execution setting appropriate expectations, communicating status with all stakeholder groups, escalating issues and concerns when warranted.
Participate in various project meetings
Track project status
Working with the sponsor to ensure the planned business value is progressing according to plan
Coordination (with Procurement) of vendor management (RFI, RFP, SOW, etc.)
End user training planning and coordination
Change management addressed in the organization, technology, architecture, and business readiness
Coordination of quality outcomes through test planning and execution
Execution of project plan deliverables, including operational readiness with the appropriate project team members
Issue facilitation and resolution
Resource management to ensure the correct resources are available in a timely manner with the sufficient skillsets to meet project needs

o Bachelor's degree
o 10 years of Project Management Experience
