A SAP Project Manager (Payroll) job in Greensboro, NC is available through Modis. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least ten years of hands-on experience as project manager, with at least eight years of experience implementing the entire end-to-end SAP payroll function.  

The SAP Project Manager (Payroll) job responsibilities include:

Our top client is starting a project which aims to implement an internal payroll solution in US. This payroll system will replace the current externalized system, and will be implemented in the SAP HR landscape.  Ability to lead such a big project, where supplier relationship, business organization, and other multiple factors will be involved in this project, and a strong coordination between them is mandatory. Proven successful experience in delivering a big project with non-negotiable go live date will be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Business
• At least 8 years implementing the entire end-to-end payroll function.
• Experience managing third-party vendor implementations &/or decoupling systems.
• Experience managing integrations to a payroll system.
• At least 10 years relevant Project Management experience.
• Experience from management and project activities, such as planning, cost control and staffing.
• Ability to lead projects in a cross-functional, matrix, international multi-site organization.
• Intermediate to expert level experience with the full MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.
• SAP Payroll module experience required.
• Extensive experience driving consensus between stakeholders that have conflicting delivery demands.
• Experience successfully delivering agile projects while fulfilling the SCRUM Master role concurrently with the Project Manager role.  

Preferred Experience:

• Must possess ‘can do’ attitude and flexibility to handle multiple concurrent priorities.
• Experience working in a global environment with many different cultures and the availability for infrequent travel.
• Ability to solve complex design problems using business modelling and/or system development methodology.
• Accounting experience highly desired.
