Ford is implementing the SAP I-ERP project, which will significantly reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, emphasize differentiating capabilities, and transform and standardize its business processes. Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) is one of the SAP modules being implemented to help businesses comply with new statutory regulations specifically related to subscription services.

We are looking for a SAP Technical Product Manager who is a technically oriented individual who has experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting SAP solutions and is interested in working with other SAP and SAP-integrated solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is Technically savvy and is willing to accept and learn SAP and develop Techno/Functional expertise and be able to manage Product teams' deliverables.

Responsibilities

You will help support and drive RAR PDO-specific identification and implementation of technology solutions, collaborating with IERP Architecture, System integrators, and other PDOs with the Product line.

What you'll be able to do:

• Engaged in bridging the gap between Architecture/PDO and Foundational product teams
• Collaborate with business product owners to develop prioritized functional business requirements
• Ensure product requirements are communicated clearly and understood
• Support design and implementation of RAR solution
• Deliver process design and information flow supporting functional work streams
• Review technical design, and provide Ford-specific support to system integrators
• Work with product owners to identify project business value and associated metrics
• Drive and challenge product owners on their assumptions and prioritizations of business value
• Work in providing architecture support such as troubleshooting application performance issues
• Work with the product teams and product owners to ensure testing plans are robust and facilitate testing with internal and external interface teams
• Balance "doing it right" with "speed to delivery" by identifying and mitigating risk, generating options, educating business and other decision-makers, and taking on justified technical debt
• Collaborate with system integrators, Ford IT, and Business teams and meet the enterprise objectives
• Provide thought leadership, business acumen, application design standards, and consulting for product teams

Qualifications

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 5 years of progressive responsibilities within technology and software functions such as software engineering/development, software/application delivery, product delivery, and/or product management
• 2+ years working with SAP I-ERP or another Finance/Accounting Platform
• Proven track record in making delivery commitments, managing customer expectations, and delivering on commitments

Our preferred qualifications:

• Advance Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  Functional experience in Finance and Accounting
• 5+ years of Software Delivery experience using Agile and/or Lean practices including defining and prioritizing product features and working with backlog management tools
• Software engineering and design knowledge; OO Design Principles Practiced in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including Paired programming Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)
• 2+ years of Object-oriented Development experience where you applied Java Enterprise concepts with the following tools and technologies:
• Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud)
• Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and technologies (Jenkins CI or similar)
• 2+ years of experience in supporting Cloud-based Software Products on the Google Cloud Platform (GCS, DataProc, Big Query, Data Flow), AWS, or Azure
• 3+ years of experience managing user requirements and user stories, calculating stories, tracking the delivery process, and managing software projects using CA Agile Central (Rally) or Jira, or similar Agile Tools
• Perform at an extremely high level of technical competence and maturity under pressure
• Strong technical background in software delivery, monitoring, and support of products.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex systems and performance testing and tuning
• Validated experience defining the product vision, strategy, and product roadmaps, and crafting and managing backlogs
• Thrive in a fast-paced working norm and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others (including key stakeholders within and outside the team) and navigate complex decision making
• Effective time management, organizational, planning, and time management skills; ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and global environment to construct quality deliverables from minimal definitions and to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively with IT and business team members on a global level, negotiate solutions and drive consensus across platform stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - able to convey complex blends of business and technical matters to a range of audiences
• Ford standard services (such as AFDS, APS, PCF, APIC/DataPower, and IICS)
