Requirement Description:

Role SAP APO/PP Functional Consultant with strong skills in SAP APO and PP with minimum 6-8 years of experience. Needs ability to understand complex business processes which interface between SAP and APO via Core Interface. With APO, needs to good understanding of PPDS, SNP and DP.

• Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) (Mandatory and should be expert)
  • Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
  • Demand Planning (DP)
  • Supply Network Planning

• PP (Should have)
  • Sand OP
  • Demand Management
  • MRP (ATP)
  • Capacity Planning
  • All integration aspects of above with APO via CIF.
• ALE
  • Connection Establishment and Monitor
  • (RFC connection, partner set up, Logical system definition etc)
  • Allows the agreed IDOC types to flow through Connection like MATMAS, BOMMAT, BOMDOC, DOCMAS, CHRMAS, CLFMAS, CLSMAS, ECMMAS, ECMREV
• Provides Technical support for ALE
  • Builds serialization group to process IDOCs in sequence.
  • Builds mapping tables, for IDOC value conversions.
  • Builds custom programs/ exits to automate processing.
  • Troubleshoot for Technical issues/challenges
  • Reprocess IDOCs
  • Build new segments in IDOCs etc

• General SAP Understanding
  • Good understanding of enterprise structure
  • Critical master data like material master, BOMs etc
  • Awareness on SAP authorization concept
  • Understanding of ABAP concepts and interface concepts like RFC, IDOCs etc.
• Exposure Costing
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Strong requirements gathering and scope management skills
• Ability to translate SAP requirements into SAP technical design efficiently
• Ability to coordinate and work in an onsite-offshore environment.
• To be the business process and SAP best practice champion.
• Ensure seamless and smooth integration between the various processes in scope
• Ensure new processes fit appropriately aligning with Siemens and SAP standard processes
• Enable Solution approach to prevent potential technical/integration conflicts
• Propose suitable alternate options and facilitating the final decision

• Accountability

• Will be responsible for all 1st level and 2nd level analysis of issues reported by users.
• Ability to analyze requirements, scope definition and solution design.
• Will be responsible for documentation of the requirement, SAP solution and development of detailed functional specifications which can worked on by the ABAP team to deliver the final solution.
• Will be responsible for the design aspect and support the documentation for solution architecture and design is complete.
• Will be responsible for scope control and detection of risks and early escalation to immediate supervisor.
• Will be responsible for accuracy of solution delivery.
