The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a SAP/PM Process Systems Integrator position available in Wilmington, DE. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Information Technology function. This position will report to R&D Business Relationship Manager.
The Global Process/Systems Integrator will have the responsibility to drive global work stream processes across all Chemours businesses using ERP and Non-ERP Systems. This role will deliver value through stabilizing and maintaining the SAP system, and incorporate Reliability and Work Management Processes into the Line Organization. In addition, this role will help drive the use of SAP to further enable business capability via supply chain transformation and value capture activities. The Process/Systems Integrator will provide guidance to the network of key users. Additionally, this role will work directly with integrators, key users, and business leaders to implement process improvements, value capture and enhancements as required to support business initiatives and/or legal, financial requirements.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Become the Subject Matter Expert in development/support of both Operations Systems and Processes (ERP and Non-ERP) in the Plant Reliability and Maintenance Space.
- Accountable to deliver configuration and requirements for the conversion from our current SAP 4.6c system to SAP S4 Hana in the Assets Space
- Drive Problem Request Notifications to conclusion from discovery to configuration through Change Management Process.
- Participate in key user networks across regions and business units.
- Advocate for business needs at Architectural Review Meetings and prioritization meetings.
- Accountable to work with the PIM Network to ensure overall solution needs (including reporting needs), are considered from an integrated viewpoint.
- Continue to develop understanding of cSAP core SAP solution and capabilities. Responsible to take advantage of the leveraged solution and educate the business on operations process improvements.
- Work with Business Leadership to simplify and standardize operations processes/systems across Chemours globally.
- Provide support to key users and site integrators for day-to-day problem resolution.
- Drive business process improvement, value capture and supply chain transformation efforts:
- Understand and interpret global user requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and estimate benefits so that standardization, simplification and integration are ensured.
- Work with organization to drive attainment of maximum business value from SAP.
- Develop business case for business process changes/improvements.
- Work with corporate technical development partners to drive opportunities through to reality.
- Coach and counsel sponsors on business process changes/improvements and be able to explain the benefits of SAP as an integrated solution.
- Assure operational continuity of the supply chain by adequately assessing and testing proposed changes to the SAP environment in a timely manner, preventing changes that would interrupt the business process from entering production. Actively participate in and provide support for Regression Testing, and other testing cycles to ensure business risk is avoided/minimized.
- Participate in data conversion validation (e.g. mass master data changes Material Master, and Equipment Data).
- Identify need for and participate or lead root cause analysis of SAP business incidents.
- Actively participate in change to business processes (could include documentation of new operating procedures and training of end users).
- Participate in workshops and presentations to validate/improve the system design.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- 4 year degree in IT/IS or Minimum of 5 years’ equivalent experience working in depth with SAP 4.6c/PM
- Experience with SAP R3 PM/PS Systems (4.6c).
- Must be able to commute daily to a local Chemours facility
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to a successful conclusion
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization in order to develop value -adding solutions
- Business acumen in an entrepreneurial environment
- Self-motivated to set and achieve objectives that deliver value to the corporation.
- Motivated to drive challenges to a successful conclusion by referencing all available resources.
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
- Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred
- In depth knowledge of Chemours Reliability and Maintenance Work Management Process
- Skilled in the use of non-ERP systems in the Assets Space (Prometheus/Struxure)
- Capable of configuration in SAP4.6c with training
