NBCU's Operations & Technology team has an SAP Payroll Systems-Sr. Analyst opportunity within the Corporate Business Solutions/HCM group. Here you can make an impact by developing and driving world-class capabilities to meet NBCU's global technology strategies by:

  • Providing technical support for the SAP HCM system by designing, developing, and implementing functionality for SAP US Payroll processes.

  • Collaborate with the business and IT teams to ensure business requirements are validated and system development goals are achieved.

  • Perform requirements gathering and write design docs like Functional Specs / Business blueprint docs etc as it relates to SAP US Payroll.

  • SAP US Payroll Configuration - Wagetypes, Tax types, Garnishments, Schema's and Rules and Payroll Postings

  • BSI Setup - Apply TUBS and make necessary tax updates to SAP and BSI

  • Work with developers to come up with technical design of RICEF's, perform Unit and Functional testing and work with business partners to get consensus on testing.

  • Maintain and Configure benefits plans like 401K, Deferred Compensation, Health and Welfare etc.

  • Project managing small and medium size projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and on budget.

  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as the implementation of Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, BSI, and Payroll year-end activities.

  • Perform SAP PY Development activities in support of the business request to improve or add functionality to the existing SAP HCM landscape specifically ABAP with an emphasis on the Payroll module

  • Troubleshoot and manage complex interfaces to downstream systems such as Timekeeper, Towers Watson, Skill Soft, and other benefits-related interfaces

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical/quantitative field

  • At least 5 years of experience in ABAP development, ABAP HR experience and troubleshooting SAP ERP HCM (Human Capital Management) functions

  • Excellent Knowledge of SAP Payroll Schema and Rules

  • Hands-on experience in developing Complex Interfaces, BDC/BAPI/HR User Exits/HR ABAP objects.

  • Logical database Reports(Payroll or Time, PA, OM) and Interfaces (Payroll or Time, PA, OM).

  • Experience with at least two SAP US Payroll implementations

  • Payroll/Time Functions + Features experience

  • Knowledge of custom payroll functions

  • Understanding of HR Payroll Execution Process, Time Infotypes, Benefits Infotypes, and Finance tables integration with SAP PY

  • Execute enhancements/developments for large or small projects based on business requirements.

  • Perform and develop SAP HCM RICEF objects.

  • Time Management modules experience in Core HR and Talent Management

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience using integration tools like Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) / Sterling Integrator

  • Participate in SAP HANA implementation

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
