Primary Role American Water is looking for an experienced professional in SAP PTP core and extended configuration who can collaborate with the team of individuals on day-to-day basis. Experience with SAP PTP Processes and good understanding on the various SAP and integrated systems. Provide SAP Best Practice knowledge to aid in the design processes. He/She will perform the necessary configuration to convert the requirements into a business solution. Experience with all phases of an implementation including business process blueprint, detailed design, configuration, testing, and support. Work with the business to gather requirements, develop proof of concepts for new technologies/solutions, and suggest business process improvisation to reduce complexity in custom application. Maintain a solutions roadmap that enables business outcomes and can reliably forecast business needs in the 35-year horizon. Lead projects that execute against this roadmap. This includes development from concept through realization including enhancements, new modules / systems / solutions, quality improvements and productivity improvements. Contribute to the development of custom applications that serve the specific process areas, domains or lines of business aligned to their expertise. Knowledge/Skills * 8+ years experience with SAP Procure to Pay * Strong experience with SAP Materials Management including Logistics, Purchasing, Service and Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, SRM Organizational/User Management etc. * Good knowledge of Coupa including Purchasing, Sourcing, Contract management, eProcurement, Supplier Information Management etc. * Good knowledge of Open Text Archiving and document access and SAP NetWeaver Platform and Fiori. * Experience integrating SAP Supply Chain solutions into a broad array of non-legacy technologies and architectures. * Experience implementing at least three full-cycle SAP implementations * Ability to serve as a liaison between technical, quality assurance and non-technical stakeholders throughout the development and deployment process * Ability to create and maintain testing scripts in SAP Solution Manager. * Experience with creating training materials and assisting with user orientation and training. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams and to make project presentations. * Excellent time-management skills and ability to plan for scheduled tasks. Experience/Education * Versatile, dynamic, demonstrates initiative, results oriented, flexible and able to work under tight deadlines. * Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. * Experience collaborating with offshore team is a plus. * Water Industry experience is a Plus. * Experience with S4/HANA is a plus.
