Experis is seeking an SAP Business Analyst to join a group downtown for a long term contract with a potential for full time hire. This person will have experience in SAP, Fiori, ABAP, and module optimizations.

Basic Function

Assess highly complex customer business requirements, evaluate alternative solutions to those requirements, present recommendations, and identify those resources necessary to implement the recommended solution. In addition incumbent will design, develop, install, maintain and enhance application systems as well as develop those systems in compliance with architectural standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Collaborate with client, ITD colleagues and others to identify client business application system requirements, assess impact to other system applications, consider and evaluate possible solutions, and present recommendations

* Perform or oversee system applications analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance and enhancement

* Fully understand the need of user requirements and match them to the right SAP UX Strategy

* Provide expert advice, design and develop applications using principles that promote fast and efficient user experiences.

* Develop and deploy UX enablement tools such as SAP Fiori and SAP Screen Personas

* Deploy required project resources, expend budgeted funds for required material, and arrange for staffing, tools and specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation

* Develop or ensure that applications are developed in compliance with architectural standards, established practices and company policies and procedures

* Acts as an internal consultant providing assistance, counsel and advice both to clients and ITD colleagues in systems design, the use of purchased or licensed software, and in-house developed programming

* Perform other duties as directed

Education and Experience

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related discipline

* Ten (10) years experience in business systems application design, and system development and installation in an on-line environment, with a conceptual understanding and working knowledge of information system technologies and methodologies employed in mainframe, mid-range and desktop computing environments

* Proficient in ABAP, Fiori development, object oriented programming, third party interface programming (web services, SAOP, OAUTH1, OAUTH2)

* Good knowledge of workflow

* Basic knowledge of one or more of the following functional areas: FI, CO, PS, HR , SD, MM

* Non-SAP development languages is preferred

* Full life cycle development

* Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job responsibilities as outlined

* Must be able to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical way

* Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, the ability to grasp new technical concepts, the ability to learn, retain and teach others new technology as it is introduced in the industry; and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies and standard business etiquette
