+ Hands on keyboard leader of a team of four plus Cloud Operations automation engineers. 60% development 40% management
+ Lead and develop strong technical talent
+ Delivering value for the business is your priority
+ Design and implement cost saving measures into solutions
+ Develop, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) that automates configuration and management of Cloud native and non-native solutions/services in AWS and Azure
+ Coordinate workload and priorities of both internal and external engineers building automation tooling and ad-hoc solutions
+ Develop tooling and improve processes to automate monitoring, metrics collection and analysis
+ Implement self-service tooling to improve team operations and management of the infrastructure
+ Work with multiple groups to establish schedules, priorities, and requirements necessary to meet project deliverables
+ Analyze current technology and processes in-use and recommend improvements
+ Ensure documentation of solutions with all details required for implementation
+ Produce documentation about automation solutions suitable for customer review and also for sales presentations
+ Handle multiple work streams across multiple engagements
**Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience** :
+ Active Secret or ability to obtain
+ Direct experience providing technical and people management of a DevOps or development team of three or more
+ Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of technical solutions leveraging cloud services and features
+ Expert in Linux troubleshooting and log file forensics
+ Expert with Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn, C)
+ Experience developing solutions using Python
+ Experience using Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
+ Experience coding Terraform for IaC automation
+ Experience using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or another server/configuration management tool
+ Experience using Jira or similar tools
+ Experience using Git and with Git workflows including tagging, branching, and integration with other tools such as Jira
+ Experience using testing frameworks like Pytest for Python or Junit for Java
+ Able to debug and resolve complex issues in cloud environments
+ Security and detail-oriented methodology
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
+ Ability to multitask with several customers, coworkers, and projects
+ Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
+ 5 yrs. Hands-on Linux/Unix Administration
+ AWS DevOps Engineer certification
+ Software development background on Linux/Unix with full stack experience
+ Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest for Python or Junit for Java
+ Experience with UI testing tools like Selenium or similar tools
