Position Summary
The System Engineer will deliver technical advisory services, documentation, and governance across Bridgestone to mature and innovate our capabilities. This position will develop and lead the process of building and translating technical business requirements into durable and efficient solutions. The candidate should possess strong business acumen, expertise with hands-on technical competency, sound operational experience, and an understanding of risk management.

Job Requirements:

  • Industry experience with enterprise ERP systems and working across cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Specific experience with SAP FI-CO required, preferably with S/4HANA.
  • Experience with Tax technologies and solutions (e.g. Thomson Reuters) a plus.
  • Understanding of ABAP, SQL/DB2/HANA databases, and cloud infrastructure is important.
  • Specific experience with Forecasting and Planning, preferably with the Blue Yonder applications.
  • Specific experience with Warehousing, preferably HighJump or SAP eW.
  • SAP development experience in: Sales Distro (SD), Logistics Execution, Warehousing Experience (HighJump)
  • Experience with Tax technologies and solutions (e.g. Thomson Reuters) a plus.
  • Knowing what it means to run a business with Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Supply Chain End to End to procure product and get a product to the customer.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Procurement, Supply Chain End to End to procure product, preferably SAP and/or Blue Yonder Supply Chain Warehousing.
