SAP MM Senior Consultant

Columbus, OH (remote option available.)

Responsibilities:

Serves as the overall Functional Lead on SAP MM projects.

• Support the identification of enhancement opportunities to improve processes and system configuration that supports the customer-focused approach but ensures compliance to the business management goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with Functional Architects and cross-functional partners to ensure end to end process integration and consistency, leveraging the capabilities within SAP

• Identification and resolution of issues leveraging functional expertise and product knowledge. Research or triage new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems and applications.

Leads project segments, including cutover planning, performance improvement

• Mentor and train team members in maintenance and operational support activities, including on-call support.

• Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the application stack.

• Research potential changes, analyze options and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed

Qualifications

7 to 10 years of hands on configuration and enhancements within SAP MM in the following areas: Plan to Procure, Procure to Pay or Warehouse and Inventory Management

One or more full life cycle project/system implementations of SAP required

Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation delivery

Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support

Leadership in development, implement and support of global initiatives

Ability to communicate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users, such as prototyping and creating business presentations, or articulating and presenting best practices to executives

Ability to create and meet business needs and time constraints

Works well with teams or in a team environment, with the ability to work independently.

Proven team leadership, mentoring, and project management skills

Four year degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
