CACI is seeking an SAP Material Management (MM) Functional Analyst to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the Material Management (MM) module for a defense medical supply chain management solution. This resource will work in an integrated Agile/ SAFe software development environment to understand complex user needs and transform them in to cutting edge solutions. As the team member, you'll be responsible for designing new solutions, prioritizing workload and assignments, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, and managing the overall procurement function. ***This is a hybrid requirement with 3 days a week required onsite in Ft. Detrick, MD.***
What You'll Get to Do:
- Analyze and transform customer requirements into detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and a foundation for training documentation
- Work with the agile/ SAFe teams to design solutions using your knowledge of MM, PP and PM Master Data while understanding the impact on other integrated modules
- Research and troubleshoot production problems and perform root cause analysis to identify core issues
- Apply strong knowledge of SAP MM, PM/PP, and FICO integration points to create simplified solutions to complex problems
- Support the following MM requirements: Goods receipts; Stock transfers/transfer postings, Goods issues; Reservations, Special forms of procurement and Inventory Management, Physical Inventory and special inventory procedures: Cycle counting and inventory sampling, Reporting in Inventory Management, Materials planning overview, Consumption based planning and MRP planning, Strategies for make-to-stock production, Strategies for make-to-order production, Technical details of the planning run and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Apply knowledge of ALE and IDOC processes
- Evaluate existing, revised, and new Materials Management software functionality for ease of use by typical end users
- Validate that software meets all applicable software design and functionality requirement specifications
- Perform tests on existing, revised, and new functionality using service-specific scenarios.
- Identify software design, performance, and process problems
- Provide guidance and assist the technical developer in interpretation of software design, performance, and functionality specifications as related to the applicable software requirements
- Consult with Help Desk personnel and site customers to resolve problems caused by software, business practice, or customer errors
- Provide functional expertise and coordination for the design, development, testing, rework, and validation of systems integration and functional interface requirements between internal and external partners
- Provide functional expertise for the creation and validation of user documentation
- Provide Materials Management functional expertise in support of the sustainment of step-by-step training aids and on-line Help files.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipeline and Agile/ SAFe processes.
More About the Role:
The SAP Material Management (MM) Functional Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, problem analysis, testing, and collaborating as part of the MM team to design, integrate, implement, and support new functionality in to the SAP instance.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required
- Minimum 10 - 12 years SAP MM experience
- Must have or be able to obtain NACLC/T3 clearance
- Must have or be able to obtain CompTIA A+, Network +, or Security+ certification or higher prior to start date
- Must be eligible to obtain a clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with APO, MM, SD, WM, PM, FM a plus
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM
- Previous experience in an agile/ SAFe development environment. Certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to be both a team player and work independently
- Demonstrate exemplary verbal and written communication. Should be able to present solutions and tailor communications for both technical /non-technical and management vs. end user audiences
- Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
