Description
We are seeking a talented individual to report to the Manager of Business Process, Production and Materials Management (PMM), who is eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment and able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The selected candidate will be able to effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization and the project team.
Responsibilities
Description of duties and responsibilities:
- Working with the other Business Process Functional Teams, Application Development Teams and Technology Services Teams, as well as stakeholders and the end users, to analyze, design, develop, modify, test and implement software solutions and applications to satisfy global business requirements in line with SAP's Best Practice
- Researching the SAP system, using OSS, ASUG and other resources to bring innovative solutions to business requirements and implement business process improvements
- Consulting with stakeholders and end users to determine business process and application development requirements and serving as their contact throughout the project, ensuring requirements and progress are communicated accurately to key stakeholders
- Working pro-actively with the business side to understand their strategic direction and how to support the execution of their strategies most effectively
- Understanding advanced, integrated business processes on a global scale
- Comprehending and performing challenging configuration tasks and testing; resolving complex user reported issues in a timely manner
- Successfully handling multiple projects, completing them on time, on budget and exceeding customer expectations
Qualifications
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- In depth knowledge of P2P and MM
- Working knowledge of WM gets higher preference
- Working knowledge of PP
- Working knowledge of the other SAP modules (SD, FICO, CRM) and related integration points
- Excellent verbal and written skills (English required, German very much preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to recognize, respect and adapt to cultural differences
- Travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
Preferred:
- Knowledge of QM, PS and Variant Configuration
- Knowledge of ABAP work bench
- Knowledge of iDocs
Education and experience required:
This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:
- Level II:
- 3 years IT or related business process experience
- 2 years SAP configuration experience
- A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.
- Level III:
- 5 years IT or related business process experience
- 5 years SAP configuration experience
- A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Information Science or related discipline
