As we continue to grow, we have an opportunity for an experienced Configuration Analyst / Business System Analyst with SAP module experience on our Master Data Management (MDM) team. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements, business process engineering efforts, data profiling, designing and implementing business solutions to support Master Data initiatives towards better Data Quality.
This position is located in our Corporate Headquarters in Northfield.
The Analyst will work closely with the business community and IT Architecture to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options. The Business Analyst will also work closely with other IT teams to incorporate processes and governance mechanisms that ensure cross-system Master Data quality.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Business Analysis and learn cross-functional business processes that support Master Data/Quality/Regulatory areas and vice-versa.
• Understand AS-IS processes and develop to-be processes to streamline Master Data/Quality/Regulatory efforts and ensure Data Quality.
• Work with and elicit functional/business/technical requirements from users and sponsors related to Master Data Management across the enterprise.
• Perform data profiling activities to document impacts to Master Data/Quality/Regulatory from new processes and vice-versa.
• Create and communicate SDLC deliverables to various stakeholders that meet the business needs and adhere to departmental documentation standards.
• Design, assist in development, test and implement new processes and solutions.
• Make software configuration changes to support business processes.
• Work with Architects and Developers to validate that the software solution will satisfy the business needs.
• Conduct functional testing of implemented applications, and provide the initial support of these applications when moved to production.
• Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts.
• Work with IT and Business community to build consensus on designs and ensure change management procedures are effectively followed.
• Assist Manager in status reporting. Escalate issues affecting scope, budget and timelines.
