Overview

We are looking for an SAP Manufacturing Associate to provide subject matter expertise (SME) for the upcoming upgrade and implementation of SAP Manufacturing.  In this role, you will work with the SAP Manufacturing Analyst, as well as other internal stakeholders, to provide SME support with various SAP modules.  In addition, you will be the point of contact for end users for various trainings, as well as provide ongoing support needs post implementation go-live.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and identify gaps
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders to select the best solutions for addressing potential gaps
  • Champion the use of commonly-used concepts, SAP standard functionality, and best practices and procedures
  • Participate in user and functional requirements gathering sessions in collaboration with functional business units and external consultants
  • Work with identified subject matter experts (SME’s) to develop a solid understanding of business processes
  • Provide training for end users during and after implementation go-live
  • Daily collaboration with SAP users, specifically those in the manufacturing, inventory, warehouse and quality departments, as well as secondary stakeholders such as IT and Validation teams
  • Ensure the health of the SAP system is maintained under change control in a validated environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent preferred, will consider commensurate experience and/or combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of SAP hands-on experience in core MM, PP, QM, SD or WM
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP manufacturing module
  • Must have experience working on small, fast-paced project teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 10% to various UT campus facilities

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • SAP Certification
  • 1+ years of experience full project lifecycle SAP implementations
  • Previous experience with SAP’s Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting Process
