Position Overview
Provide key technical and subject matter expertise to support the configuration, development and ongoing support of SAP Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehouse and Distribution modules.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Provide key support to configure and maintain functionality in the following SAP modules -- MM, PP, SD and logistics.
- Analyze business processes and identify gaps
- Provide guidance to business stakeholders to select the best solutions for addressing potential gaps
- Champion the use of commonly-used concepts, SAP standard functionality, and best practices and procedures within specific SAP modules (Manufacturing module)
- Participate in user and functional requirements gathering sessions in collaboration with functional business units and external consultants
- Work with identified subject matter experts (SME’s) to develop solid understanding of business processes
- Provide training for end users
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent preferred, will consider commensurate experience and/or combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of SAP hands-on experience in core MM, PP, QM, SD and WM
- Experience with SAP’s Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting Process
- Experience with Shop Floor Data Collection systems and integration to SAP
- Must have Master Data experience across multiple platforms
- Must have experience working on small, fast paced project teams. Must have ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- SAP Certification preferred
- Minimum 2 or more full project lifecycle SAP implementations
- 3+ years’ experience in the FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Ddatabase maintenance / development experience
- Familiarity with a variety of lab equipment interfaces (LabWare LIMS, Millennium Empower, etc.)
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment (HPLC, balances, pH meters, biological and microbiological assay equipment, etc.)
