We have partnered together with a local Manufacturing company to find a SAP Manager - MM/PP to join their team in Milwaukee, WI.

Title: SAP Manager - MM/PP

The SAP Functional Manager Materials Management (MM) & Production Planning (PP) is responsible for providing strategic direction for the creation, development, execution, and leadership of all aspects within their SAP Functional Area of expertise & responsibility (e.g. FICO, BW, MM, SD, PP, MDM, etc.) for the company beginning with creation of an application vision and strategy that aligns with Global SAP team goals and objectives. Position will lead and support a team of direct reports in the design, implementation and support of global SAP application. All deliverables are in alignment with the global business strategy.
This individual must understanding supporting systems, and organizational plus compliance requirements across multiple geographies globally. This manager/leadership position requires competent hands-on ability in their area of expertise. Manager is expected to be a hands-on manager with the expectation that they are technically proficient in an area(s) within their Functional responsibility (e.g. Warehouse Management expert within MM team, etc.). The manager will have to perform configuration when necessary since this is a hands-on position.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master Degree is preferred; however minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management or other business related field.
2. Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in managing functional SAP analysis, design, configuration and project management in their functional area of expertise. Manager must have started as a configuration analyst and worked their way to successive levels of responsibility.
3. Minimum of 5 years' experience acting in a Project Manager Role on small to large implementations.
4. Master at least 2 major sub module areas within Functional Area of responsibility (MRP, S&OP, etc.), and very good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and integration of multiple applications & other SAP Functional Areas. See additional functional requirements below pertaining to PP knowledge required for role.
5. Master at least 2 major sub module areas within Functional Area of responsibility (MM-Purchasing, MM-Inventory Management, WM, etc.), and very good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and integration of multiple applications & other SAP Functional Areas. See additional functional requirements below pertaining to MM knowledge required for role.
6. Previous SAP experience as a functional user, Project manager, configuration analyst, or consultant required In particular, experience integrating applications into an SAP landscape
7. Demonstrated experience in managing personnel located internationally and of diverse cultural backgrounds that may or may not be direct reports.
8. Demonstrates strong and highly effective interpersonal skills and able to build and maintaining long-term relationships, coalitions, and networks.
9. Demonstrated experience managing external vendors for mutually beneficial relationships.
10. Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, security practices, and audit compliance.
