Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting the SAP solution at Rise Baking Company as well as implementing SAP in non-SAP locations. Work closely with the SAP Support Team, Business Process Owners, and Subject Matter Experts to define and standardize end-to end business processes across the company. Provide expertise and support for all aspects of Production, Warehousing, Quality and Material Management Modules in SAP. Lead the SAP Support team that includes both internal and external resources. Implement and support the SAP solution at Rise Baking Company, providing expertise for all aspects of Material Management, Production Planning, Quality Management, Warehouse Management or Sales and Distribution Modules in SAP.
Essential Functions
- Utilize SAP best practices to design, configure/develop, test, and deploy an integrated ERP solution with SAP ECC/S4 HANA at the core
- Deliver solution models and architectures in line with business requirements, organization, and industry standards across all manufacturing plants
- Work with project stakeholders to understand the business outcomes and recommend options that provide fit-to-standard solutions
- Assess the impact of business change requests on the existing model and assist with prioritization
- Provide direction and guidance, adhering to design standards and target operating model
- Lead a team of IT/SAP functional leads and analysts
- Support the SAP team to determine high-level functional and technical requirements, maximizing the use of standard and out-of-the-box features and capabilities
- Work and effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders across the company to develop solutions that meet the needs of the business
- Develop and maintain documentation to support the SAP environment ensuring consistent and reliable procedures and change management processes
- Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5-8 years of hands-on SAP configuration and functional development design expertise
- 1-3 years of manufacturing industry experience; food manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Experience as an SAP Lead managing a project team
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and warehousing business process flows and SAP process design
- SAP PP, MM, QM, WM or SD certification preferred
- Knowledge of SAP CRM, SRM, BW, FICO, EDI, PO, SAC modules preferred
- Experience working on large, enterprise-scale projects, with diverse project teams
- Experience with at least 2 full cycle implementations in SAP
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers, customers, and their representatives
- Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
