**About the team**
SAP is creating a new Sustainability team to help our customers navigate and prosper in a world that faces the existential threat of Climate Change. SAPs vision is to enable customers to successfully transform their businesses into intelligent, sustainable enterprises. Collaborating closely with our customers and partners, we help to optimize their material, financial, and energy flows throughout end-to-end business processes in order to address planetary challenges. SAPs strategy is to leverage SAPs strengths to help our customers improve their Triple Bottom Lines. As such, the Sustainability Intern will help drive actionable projects that improve the outcomes of Profit/ Planet/ People, working directly with the Chief Sustainability Officer for LAC and diverse teams.
**What youll do:**
+ Actively monitoring industry news and market trends in order to best serve clients needs
+ Assess the impact of current and emerging industry-specific ESG risks and opportunities faced by companies
+ Coordinate with the team on various regional events
+ Acquire the ability to work transversely with multiple company areas on sustainability initiatives
+ Gather and analyze data and information to summarize into recommendations in the context of sustainability
+ Support coordination of multiple projects and partnerships

**Who you are:**
Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
+ Analytical skills (solid knowledge of MS Excel)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Problem-solving (ability to understand, break down and solve problems using analytical thinking and analysis)
+ Collaboration (ability to work in a team and collaborate with people at any level)
+ Energetic self-starter who can quickly establish a cross-functional network
+ Interest or affinity with sustainability issues is an asset
+ (Nice to have) Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
+ (Nice to have) STEM under graduation
+ (Nice to have) Business acumen
+ Basic knowledge in CO2 footprint calculation
+ Design skills to create customer presentations
+ Familiar with project management methodologies
