**About the team**

As the South Market Unit continues to strive for excellence, especially in the space of Analytics, Process, and Partner Interactions, we are looking for driven, articulate, and high energy interns to take on sizable projects that will have tangible and quick impacts to the South Market Unit. While projects continue to evolve, we need interns who can help take business strategy, translate that strategy into specific deliverables, projects and tasks.

**What youll do:**

**Position title:** SAP iXp Intern South Market Unit Intern (Business or Analytical Background)

**Location:** Charleston, SC preferred, Atlanta, GA or Virtual Considered

**Expected start date:** January 2023 June 2023 (25-40 hours per week commitment)

**In this role, youll:**

The Market Unit Intern will perform the following duties:

+ White Space Analysis by Line of Business

+ Pull license information

+ Map product requirements to partner products

+ Build demand plan by quantifying license opportunities based on white space analysis

+ Update White Space database

+ Work with the leadership to define criteria and quantify whitespace

+ Partner focus areas and mapping

+ Validate partner focus areas based on market unit go-to-market strategy (industry, solution, revenue, geography)

+ Account mapping between partner and market unit customers/prospects

+ Validate key partner contacts

+ Identify partner solutions that connect to SAP

+ Follow-up on opportunities identified, posted in the system and set up cadence call with the partners and leadership teams, tracking progress.

+ Gather and validate partner performance and update partner and leadership scorecards

+ Execute on virtual partner events and track pipeline generated

+ SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

+ Leverage SAC to visualize data and provide insights to leadership

+ Pull pipeline and master data and incorporate with other data sources to prepare and update dashboards and analysis of the market unit and publish to leadership

+ Support leadership in leveraging SAC

+ Assist with Customer data mining:

+ Leverage 10-K and Annual Report to pull customer/prospect strategic objectives

+ Peer Group Comparison for Key Financial Indicators

+ Pull C-Level Suite, VPs

+ Pull Customers and Suppliers

+ Customer Causes & Community Engagement

+ Customer strategic partners

**Who you are:**

Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

+ Qualified individuals will be currently pursuing a degree (Associate, Bachelor, or Master level)

+ Juniors, Seniors, and those who are in the final year of their program are preferred

+ The selected candidate must be able to work on-site 2-3 days per week in Houston, Atlanta, or Charleston

+ The selected candidate must be able to support a work schedule of 25-40 hours per week

+ Strong motivation and organization skills are preferred

+ Basic understanding of information technology and its use in business is preferred

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint is preferred

+ Knowledge of reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus

+ Use of python to consolidate data is a plus

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with technical writing is a plus
