Zurich is looking for an experienced SAP IT Portfolio Director to manage day-to-day operations on the suite of SAP applications, to manage an internal team and vendor partners, and to deliver on strategic initiatives and develop trusted relationships with business partners. Zurich is open to hiring talent at our North America headquarters office located in Schaumburg, IL.

The SAP IT Porfolio Director will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with business partners
• Platform governance and controls
• Daily operations for all SAP systems
• Managing all SAP related projects and resources
• Managing 3rd party vendor integrations and resources
• Managing audit and compliance controls

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area

            OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area

            OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area

            AND

• Experience with IT development and/or maintenance
• Knowledge of IT standards and policy
• People management experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Requires in-depth experience developing and implementing SAP solutions
• Requires prior product and resource management experience
• Project management experience
• P&C Insurance, Financial Services experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to lead in a team environment
• Vendor management experience
