Our client is currently seeking a IT Business Architect

Long Term Onsite Contract

The Supply Chain Planning IT Consultant will play a key role in understanding and redesigning Business processes, tools and data. They will also be able to align Business goals and objectives with IT strategy, roadmaps and existing products and services. A strong focus on Business processes, operations and analysis frameworks will be required to develop a holistic view of Business operations, using a cohesive framework and available industry and client IT standard frameworks.

This position will also be able to utilize their experience, innovation, analytics skills and best practice knowledge to successfully design and increase efficiencies throughout the related business processes.

Experience is required in the areas of: SAP SC Planning tools (SAP ECC, SAP APO, MRP, SAP IBP, etc) and related processes, and highly desirable experience in Master Data governance analysis, design and recommendations to maximize data accuracy and usability.

Experience with SQL, Teradata, Spotfire, and ETL processes 

‘Must Haves’

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM required, with a minimum of 7 years related experience within a science or technical field
  • Highly organized, strong results orientation using collaborative and engaging approach
  • Solid communication skills and strong business knowledge in the SC Planning areas (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, DRP, Control Tower), tools and best practices
  • Strong experience and knowledge on platforms like: SAP ECC, SAP APO, SAP IBP, Data Warehouse systems (SAP BW, Teradata), Data Analysis
  • Ability to accurately understand Business needs and objectives, translating them into functional documents that clearly describe capabilities required from an IT perspective
  • 7+ years of IT experience in a business analysis role, preferable in business facing positions
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed and results driven
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills, fostering and maintaining collaborative and solid relationships with new and existing IT partners, teams and internal Business customers at different levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements and schedule
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies
  • Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities
