**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The ISBN Commercialization Strategist is responsible for designing, orchestrating and driving the processes by which we evaluate our existing assets and commercialization approaches across SAPs Cloud businesses. You will lead and support the evaluation of SAPs Cloud commercialization models and design approaches to employ best in class models. Outcomes should support SAP group ambitions while delivering the most valuable and strategically impactful solutions to our customers and the market. This role requires effective and successful collaboration with multiple functional areas within SAP including Product Marketing, Distribution, Finance, Legal, Solution Management, Engineering and Services. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, analytical, strategic and able to effectively communicate and present to Executive Leadership.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to:**

Establish and define framework for commercialization success and related measurable KPIs

Build financial and/or operational models to identify and monitor critical product and commercialization success trends

Analyze models, trends and qualitative factors to produce business insights that highlight opportunities for commercialization strategy decisions of pivots (e.g. market entry/exit, solution investment/disinvestment, pricing and pricing models, etc).

Ability to assess opportunity and sunk costs, ROI, market opportunity and internal downstream impact of proposals

Design facilitate and lead structured decision-making cadence, providing leaders with visibility, insights and subject matter expertise to make informed, confident business decisions.

Deliver clear, accurate, actionable and impartial communication about decisions made. Own follow-up tracking and reporting on decisions made and progress of execution and results

Evolve and continuously improve processes and framework for decision making to optimize outcomes

**Education Experience & Training required:**

2 years experience at a big 3 management consulting firm Or

4 years experience evaluating and implementing commercialization models

4 years experience in Corporate Strategy

2 years experience in corporate finance and/or sales operations

2 years experience working organic and inorganic growth strategy

Software and/or Software as a Service industry experience a plus

Experience successfully leading cross-functional teams and initiatives, including Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional groups.

Bachelors degree required. Graduate degree preferred

Self-motivated and independent thinker, requiring minimal supervision for decision-making

Critical thinking and ability to challenge others on delivery while maintaining strong business relationships

Ability to prioritize, set and meet self-imposed and externally applied deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills ability to lead and motivate others without authority to drive initiatives to completion

Strong executive presence, able to escalate issues and manage executive leadership through resolution decision making

Demonstrates focus on listening and empathy with diverse groups, and facilitates empathy in others

Ability to work extremely well within existing Commercialization team and bring incremental and complementary knowledge, skills, and perspective

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 - 213,800 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
