Description
The Intern - SAP for Mohawk Industries, Inc will be responsible for assisting the team with the implementation project across the organization.
Based on the project design, the intern will learn processes, procedures and assist in helping users navigate the SAP system.
The intern will also assist in preparing the user to security role mapping which defines what access is given to the end-users in SAP system. Based on the role mapping the intern will assist the training lead in the defining and creating the training material documents, scheduling of training and assist training leads in the execution of training courses.
Responsibilities
- Assist in working with the project implementation team by managing day to day tasks focused on aggregation of data and mapping processes to SAP
- Learn all processes, procedures and assist in helping users navigate the SAP system
- Create flow charts and spreadsheets in support of project
- Assist with financial data cleansing across multiple systems
- Support development of, refine and document process improvement across the project
- Assist in problem-solving and research on processes between team leads
- Assist the project team in testing business processes
- Creation of a user to SAP role mapping spreadsheet
- Creation/updates to training materials used for training
- Preparation of the training plan/schedule
- Assistance with logistics of executing the training classes
- Exposure to an SAP implementation/rollout in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP security role mapping to give appropriate access to a large SAP environment with limited exposure to Segregation of Duties concepts.
- Provide support assistance for quality issues as required
Qualifications
- Currently Pursuing a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Business, Computer System, or a related field
- Exposure to SAP functional and security access concepts.
- Project planning/resource management
- Ability to write detailed technical documentation, presentation of training materials, handbooks, quick tips.
- Must be organized and work well with constant priority changes
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Value diversity and integrity
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when needed
- Proficient in MS Office (Work, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
